BOHO COLLA™ is all about spreading blissful vibes to your world through the art of collage.

My pieces are for any age. I don’t believe we should limit ourselves when it comes to self-expression. Be an elegant rebel. Adorn yourself in any way you choose! Anything can be an everyday thing. From blinged out streetwear to colorwild party dresses, all can play a part bringing more enchantment to your daily experience no matter your age.

I'm Nell. I am a mixed-media collage artist. The freedom of creating with no rules sings to my bohemian soul. Using high quality pre-loved and some new materials as my canvas, I create one-of-a-kind wearable art fashion, home adornments and art creation diaries which are handmade journals made for you to express your artistic moods.

I am inspired by the natural world and the artists Henri Matisse and Georgia O’Keefe.

My journey to handcrafting began in the Bronx, New York when I was a little girl. Grandma Rowena raised me for a time. She was such a gifted seamstress. Grandma introduced me to sewing. Her beautiful black and gold antique Singer sewing machine fascinated me. She patiently taught me how to measure, cut and sew using all kinds of fabric. My heart gravitated to denim and textured cloth. Grandma not only instilled within my young psyche an adoration for making things, she also made sure I realized the importance of sharing and being a good person.
Wanting to improve my work, I dove into a challenging and fun self-taught journey. I studied many aspects of collage, textile art and graphic design.

Thrift and antique shopping is one of my passions. Every find has it’s own wonderful story. The mystery behind each unique item brings with it the ability to excite the spirit. Feel free to browse all of the unique curated treasures in the AC THRIFT BOUTIQUE here on the site.

I am committed to achieving harmony between producing art and maintaining a dedication to sustainability. I use vintage, thrifted and new materials. All thrifted finds are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Eco-friendly paints and supplies are a staple. Most shipping materials are reusable/recyclable.
Note:  5% of all company profits will be split going to rainforesttrust.org and doctorswithoutborders.org. They are causes that I feel are worthy of recognition, appreciation and aid.
